Brad Marchand DÉTRUIT un journaliste sur les réseaux sociaux!

Hier, l'attaquant Brad Marchand a été reconnu par ses pairs comme étant le joueur de la LNH avec les meilleurs répliques sur la patinoire lorsque venait le temps de faire du trash talk.

Marchand n'a pas mis de temps pour faire honneur à sa réputation alors qu'aujourd'hui il a complètement détruit un journaliste qui a osé critiquer un de ses coéquipiers.

Dans un article publié sur NBC Sports, le journaliste Joe Haggerty qui couvre les Bruins de Boston, a questionné ouvertement l'impact qu'avait le défenseur Torey Krug sur l'équipe et si les Bruins étaient meilleurs défensivement lorsqu'il n'était pas dans l'alignement.

Ce à quoi Marchand ne s'est pas gêné de répliquer ceci:

"Quel sorte de déchet est-ce cet article, Haggs... Tu ne regardes même pas les matchs, tu fais juste te tenir au snack bar pendant toute la partie"

Ouch. Imaginez si un joueur du Canadien lançait une phrase comme celle-là à un journaliste de Montréal!

Au moment d'écrire ces lignes, Haggerty n'avait pas répliqué à Marchand.

Avait-il raison de défendre son coéquipier de la sorte ou est-il allé trop loin, selon vous?

Certainly the argument can be made that the B’s are better defensively with No. 47 off the ice, and that's an easy case to make after a Tuesday night shutout in which the B’s limited the Islanders to just two shots in the first period and only 13 shots total. With undersized defensemen Krug and Matt Grzelcyk out of the lineup, the Bruins don’t have any D-men that opposing forwards can really pick on, though it should be noted Grzelcyk is actually pretty strong defensively despite the size and strength disadvantage. But the installation of Connor Clifton along with John Moore back into the Bruins' lineup makes them a more rugged defensive unit and certainly gives them a tougher look in the defensive zone. Does it mean they should go with that when Krug and Grzelcyk are healthy and ready to return? Absolutely not, given that the B’s also need to score goals and they rely on Krug running things on their top power-play unit. That’s going to be a massive key to the postseason. But it’s interesting to note how the B’s play differently based on the personnel."
